POTATODAY (Portrait of the Artist Today)
I am interested in the essential practice of drawing and painting and image making generally as a way to express my own creativity and to help others express theirs.
My creative practice is informed by narratives that seek to give meaning to or affect lived experience. I am fascinated by the complexity of the world and our responses to it. As such I am interested in histories and how language and media are used to affect our perceptions of the world. I am interested in finding ways in which we can effect our environment and society in small but significant ways through art.
